1979 B.S., M.S. in Chemistry of natural compounds, Taras Shevchenko Kyiv State University. 

1993 Ph.D. in Bioorganic chemistry, Long-distance post-graduate studies at the Novosibirsk institute of bio-organic chemistry. 

2005 Doctor of Science in Bioorganic chemistry, Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics, NAS of Ukraine. Dissertation "Design of Cyanine Dye Based Fluorescent Tags for Nucleic Acids and Proteins."

Research interests: 

  • design of protein kinase inhibitors with the aid of combinatorial chemistry, computer modeling and high-throughput screening;
  • design of fluorescent probes for detection of biological macromolecules.
